Don has lived in Meadow Creek since 1972 and came to work for the Ministry of Highways; eventually becoming the road foreman in 1975. Don left, and in 1986, started D&G Construction Ltd., with his brother. He sold everything in 2005, after some injuries and major changes in the industry. Don currently has a Laser Etching and Cutting business, Laserdit.ca. He has been involved in burying conduit for our main fibre optic feed for the Lardeau Valley infastructure as well as tower base construction. |
